Chile is Prepared

The ONEMI’s National Drill Program, “Chile Preparado”, seeks to promote a culture of emergency preparedness in the community, preparing it for emergencies like major earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, hazardous material spills, and others. Furthermore, these evacuation exercises test response skills of both the community and the local authorities, by simulating realistic scenarios.
